报告摘要：We first present some criteria for the positivity and log-convexity of three-term recurrence sequences, and then apply them to Apery-like numbers and diagonal coefficients of some famous rational functions.

报告人简介：王毅，大连理工大学数学科学学院教授、博士生导师。1979年考入大连工学院应用数学系，师从徐利治先生获得博士学位，研究方向为组合数学。在解析组合学的研究中做出了一些有重要影响的工作，多项研究成果以定理形式出现在国外多部专著中。主持过多项国家级和省部级基金项目。
